This most miniature and exquisite example of an antique jewellery box was manufactured by the firm of Edwards. This box now takes the record of the smallest box fitted with a Bramah lock that I have ever seen!
The same beautiful quality of Brazilian Rosewood as used on his full sized pieces has also been used for this example.
The interior is lined with gold-tooled green leather, moiré silk and matching velvet.
There is a paper manufacturer’s label to the base that bears the name of Edwards.
The Bramah lock comes with its original key.
