The rear compartment of the main section features a removable floor that conceals a hinged mahogany travelling glass-windowed display case.

The lower drawer features a large velvet and silk-lined compartment

The ruched velvet panel in the lid can be removed and reversed to display a free-standing mirror. A concealed leather-bound letter wallet is fitted to the underside of the lid.
