This is a very rare Edwardian salesman’s sample miniature 9.5” aneroid barometer and thermometer manufactured by Chadburns Ltd of 47 Castle Street, Liverpool circa 1900. The barometer is fitted within in a mahogany casing with decorative wooden inlay and brass finial. What makes this piece even more special is that it comes in its original solid mahogany and glass display case.
The lock is fully working with its original key.
The condition of the barometer and display case is excellent both externally and internally.
