An Exceptionally Rare Large Antique Rosewood Brass Inlaid Glass Display Jewellery Box – Sold

Dating from the early 1830’s, this large and exceptionally rare antique jewellery display box is veneered in rosewood with foliate brass inlay on all sides. It has a hinged solid rosewood framed glass lid, and is unusually finished with a Bramah lock.

The interior is lined with a Mulberry purple velvet accompanying the polished Mahogany walls.

The Bramah lock comes with its key.

The box and glass come in immaculate condition.
